(Frederick, Md.) June 13, 2019 – The hard work Immersion Active puts into helping brands better engage prospective customers is paying off for the full-service marketing firm which has won a 2018 Maryland Award of Excellence (MAX) from the Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA). Immersion Active was honored in the Outstanding Website category for its website redesign for Penn National, an active living community located in south central Pennsylvania.
To help Penn National’s website better resonate with its target audience, 55+ home buyers living in the Greater Washington D.C. and Philadelphia areas, Immersion Active redesigned the community’s website to embody all it has to offer, including its different neighborhoods and a variety of activities and amenities. The new user-centric website features a restructured top navigation and mobile responsive design so visitors can easily find information. Additionally, high-quality photography and video now immerse visitors in the community’s culture and lifestyle so they can better envision living at Penn National. Following the redesigned website’s launch in June 2018, the number of page views skyrocketed by 94.22%.
“Our team works hard to understand our clients’ challenges so we can create solutions that resonate with our clients’ customers,” said Joe Ford, president and senior digital strategist at Immersion Active. “The team’s website redesign for Penn National is helping the community see the results it wanted, and it is a great added bonus that our work gets recognized by an award as prestigious as the MAX.”
Sponsored by MBIA’s Sales & Marketing Council, the MAX program highlights the best and brightest of the local home building industry. This year’s winners were announced at the MAX Awards dinner on May 9, 2019 and will be featured in the upcoming issue of MBIA’s BUILD Maryland.
