The ideal candidate must be passionate about interactive marketing and be genuinely interested in keeping abreast of the latest changes in online advertising and media placement, with an interest in exploring new and unique strategies. A creative and analytical mind with a strong drive to constantly improve campaign effectiveness and conversions is needed.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field plus two years experience as a media planner. Must have experience planning, executing, and optimizing multi-facetted online advertising campaigns. Must be well-organized with an attention to detail, work under minimal supervision and have the ability to communicate clearly. Candidate should clearly demonstrate application of campaign planning, flighting, and reporting software.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Media Planner responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Work with other team members to develop strategic plan that best meets clients business objectives and advertising strategy that will result in high performance and innovative media plans including most appropriate types of media to use, as well as the most effective timing and locations.
2. Work with other team members to establish media campaign success metrics and evaluate campaigns accordingly: revise strategies, concepts and executions as necessary.
3. Apply detailed knowledge of media market, consumer insights, media vehicles and geographical locations to develop media recommendations on the best form of media for specific campaigns.
4. Manage research and analysis data to translate ideas into quantifiable media performances.
5. Present proposals and media and cost schedules to internal audiences.
6. Develop and maintain contacts with the media community.
7. Manage agency relationships to gain respect and trust in your judgment.
