Senior Account Strategist

  • Drive and deliver results for our clients.
  • Create and present strategic marketing plans and business rationales that align with clients’ business objectives.

  • Act as the final point of escalation for all project and account related issues beyond the project manager.

  • Work closely with product development team to align client needs with offered products and services.
  • Have an understanding of the analytics landscape and experience with analytics based platforms, products and services.

Education & Experience:

  • 10+ years of business, account management, marketing or related experience
  • 4+ years of strategic interactive marketing experience
  • 4 year college degree (Masters degree preferred) in a related field such as marketing, business, or communications


  • Proven experience formulating and driving long-term strategic account plans.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with experience working with all levels of an organization, including C-level executives.
  • Ability to identify, articulate, and defend insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Aptitude for uncovering and analyzing clients spoken and unspoken goals and needs.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a complex team and client environment.
  • Collaborate with our team to define project objectives, set key performance metrics, and establish project approach.

Senior Data Analyst - Business Intelligence Group

By discovering and analyzing client needs and trends, our innovative teams of strategists, analysts and interactive specialists work together to create scalable solutions. At Immersion Active, we use research and data to drive all of our decision-making; as part of the Digital Practices Group, you'll be using data to inform client strategy and campaign optimizations.

When planning for a new client marketing campaign begins, you will work hand in hand with the strategist and key content area experts to identify key business objectives, goals, tactics and segments, as well as establish achievable targets. Using your technical skills and business acumen, you will build tools to automate reporting and dashboard updates so clients can see quickly and accurately how projects are performing. You will prioritize high value tests and optimizations to improve performance for the client and create optimization plans for future testing. The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for creating a reporting framework that enables better data driven decisions, campaign optimization and predictive ROI.

As a passionate and knowledgeable analyst of these industries, you will keep a close eye on the competitive dynamics, research, and actionable analyses that your stakeholders can use to build great campaigns.   • Develop reporting strategy and implementation of integrated campaigns across multiple channels
  • Assist in perfecting user experiences and increase conversion with optimization tools
  • Create well-organized presentations and reports with direction from account strategists. Lead client presentations; add insight to data, and field strategic and technical questions.
  • Identify and facilitate stakeholder participation on positioning strategies; measurement and analysis frameworks; and marketing campaigns
  • Provide ongoing research and in depth analysis of competitor’s strategy

Minimum qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Liberal Arts or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of analytical work experience with a deep understanding of digital marketing and direct response dynamics.

  • Track record of thought leadership in applying data driven models that have had a tangible impact on sales and marketing operations across international markets.

Senior Web Analyst - Business Intelligence Group

At Immersion Active, Web Analytics begins with deeply understanding the user, their needs and other data sources then connecting that understanding to our clients’ objectives. Our job is to leverage technology to connect user needs in new and unconventional ways to make our clients’ brands shine above the static.

Senior Web Analysts will typically focus on multiple business unit websites and support all facets of the decision-making platform (clickstream analysis, outcomes analysis, search analysis, multivariate testing analysis). They will also work closely with the website technology team to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements. They will be expected to partner outside the business units to ensure that best practices in metrics and decision making are being exposed to client management and core website decision makers. They will be the subject matter expert and advocate best practices and around web analytics, campaign reporting, conversion optimization, program/site measurement and multivariate testing.

Job Content & Scope

  • Support the analytic needs of clients’ teams by analyzing web traffic using clickstream tools such as Google Analytics, ClickTale, Omniture etc. to produce reports relating to outcomes.
  • Create holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and websites for presentations to senior management team.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as vendors and internal marketing departments, to assist with data collection and reporting.
  • Drive core insights from the data to suggest, create and execute multivariate or A/B/C tests that drive fundamental improvements to the site experience.
  • Exhibit a high level of expertise in driving the data strategy across multiple “listening posts” (websites, surveys, testing, CRM systems, market research etc).

Typical Deliverables

  • Weekly, monthly reports (Excel, BI tools, clickstream analytics).
  • Lead development of senior management dashboards.
  • Website behavior and customer experience analysis.
  • Data consolidation and validation.
  • Coordinating tags, tracking parameter implementations.
  • Lead creation and completion of multivariate and A/B testing documents (from hypothesis creation to influencing creative to identifying success metrics) and post-test analysis.
  • Business requirements synthesized from multiple sources including product managers, development teams, and functional group members.
  • Documentation relating to existing processes and suggestions/presentations for improving those processes.
  • Effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) for project teams and business leaders.

Knowledge / Background / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
  • At least three to four years of working with standard clickstream analysis tools: Google Analytics, Omniture, ClickTracks, WebTrends, HBX, CoreMetrics etc.
  • Two years of experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research.
  • Three to five years of experience in one or more roles in an online ecommerce or online support environment.
  • High level of expertise with Business Intelligence tools, two plus years, such as Brio, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Cognos, etc., with experience writing and tuning SQL queries in an online or offline environment.
  • Three to five years of experience in using the Microsoft Office suite with very strong Excel skills.
  • Three to five years of business analysis experience in large size companies with multiple functions/business units preferred.
  • Mid-level expertise in the SEM (Search Engine Marketing)/PPC (Pay Per Click) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies and a minimum one year experience measuring success of SEM/PPC and SEO campaigns/efforts.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
  • Exposure to project management skills, business process redesign principles, tools and techniques a plus.
  • Team / Leadership Skills:

  • Uses sound judgment to identify issues and escalates when appropriate.
